Why We Talk About Sex Ed
Let’s Talk About Sex...Education: I started my period at 11, to me and the rest of the world, I had become a full grown woman and with it came power, responsibilities, and some unwanted life lessons. But this isn’t exactly a post about my period (though I could write some stories). This is a post about the things I learned about sex and education the years after my first period.

There's No Wrong Way To Be A Girl
#ImStillAGirl: Girls are constantly bombarded with statements such as, act like a lady, sit like a girl, dress like a girl from an early age, but what does it mean to look like a girl? Is it the clothes you wear, the way you carry yourself, or your voice? Check out our post on being a girl and what it means to be a girl in a society that restricts the definition of G.I.R.L.

Do You Boo:Self-Acceptance and Accepting Others: Self-acceptance is a beautiful thing and although we often have to struggle to finally attain it, it’s worth the fight. On the flip side though, having the acceptance of others is important as well (in fact, it’s a basic human psychological need). Now, just to clarify, ACCEPTANCE DOES NOT MEAN APPROVAL.
